<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell having an electrolyte retaining function to a gel type negative electrode to keep a good high rate discharge property, a control function of voltage drop by a shock from outside, and a fluidity of a gel type negative electrode making it easy to fill a gel type zing negative electrode into a cell. <P>SOLUTION: The gel type zing negative electrode made of an anhydrous zinc alloy powder, a gelatinizing agent, and an alkaline electrolyte of an enclosed type alkaline zinc primary cell uses both a bridged acrylic acid polymer having 5 to 20 Pa.S of 0.5% by mass water solution dispersion viscosity at 25°C as a gelatinizing agent and with particle diameters of mainly 100 to 500 μm, and a non-bridged acrylic acid polymer having 3 to 20 Pa.S of 0.5% by mass water solution dispersion viscosity at 25°C and with mainly particle diameters of not more than 100 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
