<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which can perform power adjustment for a light beam, in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This medium is arranged with a plurality of test areas (TEST1- TESTn) to which trial write operation is performed by a light beam, and a plurality of power setting information recording areas (PREC1-PRECn), positioned between each of a plurality of these test areas to record an optimal power setting parameter and device identification information for a recording device, to which the trial write operation is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
