<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a close range of target in a pulse type radar apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A radome fitted to the opening of a body 2 has a projecting outer shape where a central section projects from other sections, partition boards 3a, 3b that are formed by extending the side-wall of the projecting section in the inside, and a transmission antenna section 4a, a reception antenna section 4b, and spatially separates an RF circuit section 4c formed on an RF circuit board 4 by the partition boards 3a, 3b. Additionally, a shielding layer 6 is formed on the side wall inside the projecting section of the radome 3 and the partition boards 3a, 3b by depositing an electric wave reflection board or an electric wave absorption material such as metal foil, and the shielding layer 6 prevents direct waves from sneaking from the transmission antenna 4a to the reception antenna section 4b and the RF circuit section 4c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
