MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE: A magnetic recording medium is provided to improve the dispersion stability of a magnetic paint and uniform magnetic characteristics of the magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION: Montmorillonites substituted by an organic matter is mixed with solvent to be swelled. A bonding agent solution is formed by mixing the montmorillonites solution with a bonding agent. A magnetic paint is made by mixing the bonding agent solution with ferromagnetic powders and an anti-static material. The magnetic paint is applied to a non-magnetic base. A magnetic recording medium is manufactured by drying, calendaring, and slitting the non-magnetic.
