Process for improving the wheel grip of a vehicle by creating a negative pressure under the vehicle comprises producing an air flow by rotation of the wheels of at least one axle. The air flow produced is directed so that, especially during forward movement, any air under the vehicle is extracted. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for carrying out the above process. Preferred Features: The intensity of the air flow can be varied as a function of steering lock. At least part of the air flow is used for cooling the brakes. Air is prevented from flowing under the vehicle.
