The invention relates to a pendular appliance for vertically sinking embedding pins into the ground by striking a hydraulically controlled mass on a boring spindle. Said appliance is autonomous, transportable, and can be adapted to any lifting appliance. It can be used on ground which is steep or difficult to access, optimising the verticality of the sinking due to its pendular design. The inventive appliance comprises a carrier element (2) which is provided with a universal hook supporting a fixed pendular column (1) in which a mobile column (7) slides freely. Said mobile column supports the boring spindle and guides a sliding striker (10) driven by a jack (20) and hydraulic tongs (12) which ensure a constant striking elevation of about 1 m. The hydraulic energy is provided by an external group. The inventive appliance is used in heavy and highway construction, and is a substitute for other boring appliances due its versatility. |
