The convertible recliner and seat has a carriage (2) pulled out from a furniture-frame (1). An upholstered section (8) is mounted in the carriage (2) on movable supports (15). When the carriage (2) is pulled out into a recliner position by moving the movable supports (15), the upholstered section is raised. An extra cushion (14) joined to the upholstered section (8) by means of movable supports on the carriage to which the extra cushion (14) is joined. Arms (18) are joined to the movable supports (3) on the upholstered section (5) touch the links of the movable supports (15). USE/ADVANTAGE - The force required for converting the recliner-seat is reduced and has an extra cushion linked to the carriage and to the upholstered section.
