<p>Described herein is a method and apparatus for sharing connection state information between multiple processing elements. A connection state information manager (csim) facilitates the implementation of applications across multiple processing elements, such as network appliances. Instead of copying complete connection state information between processing elements, the csim uses probability to determine which processing elements need to see a particular data packet.</p> |
