A desiccant system and a method for producing the same wherein a container (20) is provided with a desiccant sheet (10) that is trapped within the container (20) and a water vapor impermeable cover (26) for the container (2 0) making a water impermeable seal thereto. The sheet (10) may have a first substrate (12), and optionally, a second substrate (14), and desiccant particles adhered to the first substrate (12) or trapped between the first substrate (12) and the second substrate (14). A binder material may fuse the desiccant particles to one another and the substrates (12 and 14). The sheet may be trapped within the bottle (20) due to its tendency to unfurl to a fla t condition, or it may be adhered to an inner surface of the bottle (20).</SDO AB> |
