<p>A torsional vibration measuring instrument comprises reflecting means (6, 7) arranged at predetermined axial interval on an object rotator (5) the torsional vibration of which is to be measured, pulse light beam applying means (1, 2) for outputting a repetitive pulse light beam to be applied to the reflecting means, and transmission transmitting means (3, 4) for transmitting the outputted pulse light beam. The torsional vibration measuring instrument further comprises transmitting/receiving means (8, 9) for causing the transmitted pulse light beam to fall on the reflecting means and receiving the reflected pulse light beams reflected from the reflecting means and reception transmitting means (3, 4) for transmitting the received reflected pulse light beams. The torsional vibration measuring instrument still further comprises sensing means (12,13) for sensing the reflected pulse light beams transmitted by the reception transmitting means (12,13) and signal processing means (14) for processing the pulse output signals outputted from the sensing means and calculating the torsional vibration frequency of the object rotator.</p> |
