PURPOSE:To sufficiently hold performance of a film for a long period even in a formed food product containing salts by containing polyvalent metallic salts in the formed food product in applying an edible film-forming solution to the surface of the formed food product, curing the resultant film with a curing solution and obtaining the formed food with the film. CONSTITUTION:An edible film-forming solution is applied to the surface of a formed food product (e.g. a formed product of loose cod roe) containing polyvalent metallic salts (e.g. calcium chloride), added and blended therein and cured with a curing solution containing polyvalent metallic salts to form a film. Thereby, the formed food product with the film capable of exhibiting excellent quality and performance thereof for a long period is obtained. |
