摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable efficient separate measurement of complex rays of radiation by arranging an ultraviolet light source and a luminous glass element so as to let the excited ultraviolet light enter with a particular angle inclination. CONSTITUTION:An ultraviolet light source and a glass element for luminous glass dose meter 11 are so arranged that the excited ultraviolet light passing through a diaphragm 30 will enter with an inclined incidence angle over 3 degree from the direction perpendicular to a surface having a right angle against the irradiation surface of the element 11. And thus, the irradiation surface is totally excited without suffering the effects of chambering on the edge and irregularity of the thickness of the element 11, and luminescence light according to the intensity of the radiation dose is output from the irradiated surface. The luminescence light is detected through a photomultiplier 3 and filter of the element 11 etc. Thus radiation dose of complex rays such as gamma ray and betaray is read and measured efficiently and separately.</p>
