<p>An optical fiber core (10) being employed for laser guide or light guide. The optical fiber core (10) comprises an optical fiber (11) having a core (11a) at the center of the fiber and a clad (11b) covering the core (11a), a low refractive index reinforcing layer (12) provided to cover the optical fiber (11) and having a refractive index lower than that of the optical fiber (11) at at least a part touching the optical fiber (11), and an outer protective layer (14) provided to cover the low refractive index reinforcing layer (12) and being strippable independently thereof.</p> |
