COLLECTION AND CLASSIFICATION DEVICE FOR LARGE INVERTEBRATE BENTHOS IN FRESH WATER, LAND INSECT AND SPIDERS

PURPOSE: Provided is a device for collecting and classifying large invertebrate benthos living in fresh water, land insects and spiders to attain improvement of easy and simple carrying and management thereof in indoor/outdoor places and economical production thereof. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a collection receptacle(12) having an outlet(12a), a supporting cap(13) having apertures(13b) and an inlet port(13c), a transfer duct(14) to pass water into the receptacle(12) through the outlet(12a) and the aperture(13b), a collecting net(15) received in the receptacle(12), a collection portion(11) having an inlet pipe(16), an operation gun(17) having a lever(17a), inlet and outlet(17b,17c) and fitted in the aperture of the cap(13), a discharge pipe(18) arranged with the outlet(17c) of the operation gun(17), a pump(20) equipped at desired portion of the pipe(18) to pump water, and a power supply(21) to provide electric power to the pump(20).
