PURPOSE: A device for counting and binding paper money is provided to process counting and binding paper money in one device, reduce consumption of band papers for binding paper money, and winding paper money by a roller method. CONSTITUTION: A stack unit(200) accumulates paper money calculated at one side of a paper money counting unit(100). A band paper supply unit(310) supplies a band paper for binding a bundle of paper money. A binding arm(330) is located in the stack unit(200) and rotates a bundle of paper money accumulated in the stack unit(200) with a band paper supplied from the band paper supply unit(310). A band paper cutting unit(350) glues and cuts a band paper supplied from the band paper supply unit(310) in accordance with rotation of the binding arm(330). A control unit generally controls the above elements. The upper stack unit(210) accumulates a counted paper money bundle firstly. A door unit(220) is opened when a bundle of paper money is bound. The lower stack unit(230) is an extended space in the upper stack unit(210), and formed additionally by opening the door unit(220). The binding arm(330) is located in the lower stack unit(230).
