PURPOSE: An apparatus for viewing an X-ray film using a backlight is provided to easily and simply use the X-ray film viewing apparatus in an industrial field and to easily achieve an X-ray film viewing mask. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray film viewing apparatus includes an external frame(1) for preventing the X-ray film viewing apparatus from being damaged or overheated, an X-ray film viewing window(2) for viewing a front portion of the X-ray film, a local area viewing window(3) having an iris(4), and a touch pad switch(5). A brightness adjusting switches(6,7) are provided to adjust brightness of the X-ray film viewing window(2) and the local area viewing window(3). A size of a mask is adjusted by means of a window size adjusting switch(8). An adapter(9) is coupled to a power source(14). A stand(10) is provided to protect the viewing windows. The mask and the X-ray film are stored in a storing box(11). A backlight(13) is provided at each viewing window. A liquid crystal light switching device(40) is formed between glass(12) and the backlight(13). |
