<p>A locking device (10) is constituted by: a casing (13); a cover (15) fastened to the casing (13) into a unit construction; a latch plate (16) for latching a striker (4), the latch plate (16) being rotatably supported by the casing (13) and the cover (15); a locking plate (19) being rotatably supported by the casing (13) and the cover (15), the locking plate (19) locking the latch plate (16) in its turn, thereby to ensure the latching of the striker (4) by the latch plate (16); locking-state removal means (11,29) for removing the locking of the striker (4) by the latch plate (16) by turning the locking plate (19); and a striker pressing plate (20), rotatably supported by the cover (15), for pressing the striker (4) against the latch plate (16) in a state that the latch plate (16) is locked in its turn. <IMAGE></p> |
