PURPOSE: Fixing structure of a magnet of a washing machine is provided to fasten the magnet simply by inserting a magnet cover to a magnet housing, and to cut down manufacturing cost by absorbing impact and noise with the elastic magnet cover in opening and closing the lid. CONSTITUTION: A magnet fixing system is composed of a magnet detecting opening of a lid by operating a lid switch installed in a case in opening and closing the lid; a magnet housing(84) having an opening part protruded inside the lid and opened in the surface faced to the top cover in closing the lid to insert the magnet; and a magnet cover(86) inserted to the magnet housing to prevent displacement of the magnet from the magnet housing by covering the opening part of the magnet housing. Plural protrusions(88) are formed in the magnet housing to press and fit the magnet cover in the magnet housing. Impact and noise are absorbed by protruding the elastic magnet cover partially in the magnet housing in opening and closing the lid. |
