Insert for eye suction ring

The ring-shaped insert (10) is an open-pored molding made of sintered glass with roughness at its front surface to prevent eyeball touching surface with more than 10% of its surface. Latch closure (7) attaches insert to ring wall (2). The shape of the insert is a key feature. If it conforms with the eyeball, the shape and intra ocular pressure are unaffected. If it has a greater curvature, the internal pressure is controlled.
