PURPOSE: A device for detecting a DTMF signal in a mobile communication network is provided to generate the DTMF signal in an exchange to transmit the signal to a BSC(Base Station Controller), and to extract necessary information by performing a DTMF detection function in a vocoder of the BSC, thereby increasing compatibility of the BSC. CONSTITUTION: A BTS(Base Station Transceiver Subsystem)(200) wirelessly interfaces data with an MS(Mobile Station)(100), and interfaces data in connection with a BSC(300) by an E1/T1 link. The BSC(300) manages the BTS(200), interfaces the data in connection with the BTS(200) by the E1/T1 link, and interfaces data by connecting with an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(400). The MSC(400) manages subscribers, and switches with the BSC(300). The BSC(300) comprises as follows. A CCP(Call Control Processor)(310) performs all control functions related to call processing. A vocoder(320) processes voice compression/restoration functions and additional services. |
