METHOD FOR FORMING FILM USING SOLUTION, CELLULOSE ESTER FILM, PROTECTING FILM AND POLARIZING SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the condensation of a plasticizer gas in a method for forming a film using a solution, by which a filmy material based on a polymer solution composed of a polymer dissolved in an organic solvent is formed and a polymer film is obtained by volatilizing the organic solvent contained in the filmy material. SOLUTION: The method for forming a film using a solution comprises the first step to mix a plasticizer for improving the tenacity of the filmy material, the second step to form the filmy material of a polymer solution after mixing the plasticizer and the third step to convey the filmy material formed by the second step to a drying part 700 constituted of a volatilizing part which demarcates a volatilization space 700a for volatilizing the organic solvent contained in the filmy material by heating the filmy material and a volatilizing part which demarcates a cooling space 700b for cooling the filmy material which is adjacent to the volatilization space 700a at the downstream end, causing the filmy material to pass through the drying part 700. Thus the pressure difference between the volatilization space 700a and the cooling space 700b is adjusted to be 30 Pa or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
