PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a simple structure by which a fishline guide can be easily moved to a fixing position and precisely fixed thereto without coming loose so as to be freely detachable. SOLUTION: The fishing rod has the fishline guide 22 and a lock part 26. The fishline guide 22 is attached to a rod pipe 12 through a cylindrical member 28 freely movable on the rod pipe 12. The lock part 26 is formed on the rod pipe 12, has a tapered outer surface and locks the cylindrical member 28 by engaging with the inner surface of the cylindrical member 28. The inner surface of the cylindrical member 28 is formed into a tapered shape having a taper larger than that of the outer peripheral surface of the lock part 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
