PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of a coffee drink with reduced oxidative deterioration, excellent in appearance by producing the coffee drink in an inert gas atmosphere for prevention of the oxidative deterioration and subjecting the drink in the production to a high-pressure treatment in at least a step for prevention of precipitation, coagulation and surfacing of oil. SOLUTION: The method for production of the coffee drink obtained from an extraction step to a filling step and a container used for filling in a deoxygenative condition (in an inert gas such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen) subjects at least a step to a high pressure treatment (a treatment under 20-200 MPa, preferably 25-150 MPa).
