PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a bale-shaped olefinic elastomer not having a problem of fluidization or integration during transport and keeping and not generating the take-in of air bubbles or impurities, and a manufacturing apparatus therefor to obtain the bale-shaped olefinic elastomer usable as a raw material for manufacturing a final product without employing a complicated process for the degassing of air bubbles, the removal of impurities or the like. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the bale-shaped olefinic elastomer is characterized in the pressure molding of pellets comprising an elastomer (A) obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and a 3-20Cα-olefin, and containing a constituent unit (A1) with a density of 0.80-0.90 g/cm<SP>3</SP>derived from ethylene and 15-90 mol% of a constituent unit (A2) derived from the 3-20Cα-olefin with respect to 100 mol% of the sum total of the constituent unit (A1) and the constituent unit (A2) derived from the 3-20Cα-olefin and not substantially containing a copolymer component originating from a polyene.
