PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply unit capable of supplying ink quickly from an ink tank to a print head while suppressing pressure variation in the print head. SOLUTION: Inside diameters of ink supply tubes 41, 42 and 43 are determined to satisfy a relation S1>S2≥S3, where S1 is the transverse cross-sectional area of the channel of a first ink supply tube 41, S2 is the transverse cross-sectional area of the channel of a second ink supply tube 42, and S3 is the transverse cross-sectional area of the channel of a third ink supply tube 43.
