PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile outside plate member for a vertical portion with heat resistance against baking finish, excellent dimension stability, excellent surface appearance, and high shock resistance in a low temperature, while having efficient rigidity. SOLUTION: This automobile outside plate member for a vertical portion is composed of a polyamide resin composition obtained by constantly dispersing a silicate layer of swelling laminar silicate in polyamide resin at a molecule level. Addition volume of the swelling laminar silicate is 3-7 weight part per 100 weight part of polyamide resin, a linear expansion coefficient is 6.0×10<SP>-5</SP>/K or less, and a face shock strength is 10 J or more under a temperature of -30°C.
