<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device capable of preventing a bend of a receiving plate surface of a metallic tray housing an item to be treated, and heat-treating a plastic tray as it is at a high temperature under a high pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The tray supporting device in a high temperature and high pressure or normal pressure treating apparatus 1 such a horizontal sterilizer, a pasteurizer or the like comprises a transporting device 3 putting the multi- stacked metallic trays or the plastic trays 2 on each of which the item to be treated is placed into the treating apparatus, a stay 7 arranged at the downward center of the treating apparatus in a longitudinal direction and an elevating and descending device 12 connected to the stay 7 and arranged in the outside to elevate or descend the stay 7 while keeping the stay 7 in the horizontal state wherein when the item to be treated is heat-treated, the stay 7 is elevated by the elevating and descending device 12 to support the receiving plate surface of the lowermost tray and after the treatment the stay 7 is apart from the receiving plate surface to descend. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
