PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment 35 to be easily attached to a conveyor frame 12 of approximately U-shaped cross section having side face portions 14 and upper and lower edge portions 15. SOLUTION: A clamp body 39 has an engagement portion 57 for engaging the edge portions 15 of the conveyor frame 12 and a hook portion 58 bent and formed at one end of the engagement portion 57 for engaging the side face portions 14 of the conveyor frame 12. A hold-between portion 59 is bent and formed at the other end of the engagement portion 57 for holding the edge portions 15 of the conveyor frame 12 between the engagement portion 57 and itself. A fixture 63 is used for fastening the hold-between portion 59 and the engagement portion 57 of the clamp body 39 and fixing the clamp body 39 to the edge portions 15 of the conveyor frame 12. A support 41 is fastened together with the clamp body 39 by the fixture 63 and a bracket 38 on which a photoelectric switch 22 is mounted via an arm 40 is supported by the support 41.
