APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING HYDROGEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing hydrogen, with which hydrogen is produced from an organic substance by using a biocatalyst for producing hydrogen.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing hydrogen in which the biocatalyst for producing hydrogen is used is equipped with a hydrogen generation part for generating hydrogen from the organic substance and a hydrogen combustion part for burning hydrogen generated in the hydrogen generation part and the hydrogen generation part is heated by using heat of combustion generated by the hydrogen combustion part to a temperature to make the biocatalyst active.
