PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate a labor required for exchanging a coating cloth used for a seat or a backrest of a chair. SOLUTION: The coating cloth 6c is overlaid on the seat 6 and an edge part 6c3 of the coating cloth 6c is wrapped to the bottom surface side of the seat 6 and such the seat 6 of such a condition is attached to a seat holder 4. A projection 6c2 is provided to the edge part 6c3 of the coating cloth 6c as an engaging part and the projection 6c2 is drawn into and engaged to a concave part created as a hooking part on the seat holder 4, more specifically, an interior surface 4b of the seat holder 4 composed by a frame body.
