<p>PURPOSE:To provide the microcomputer which performs initialization by maintaining an initial state and resetting the initialization with an external reset signal. CONSTITUTION:The microcomputer is equipped with an instruction unit 1 which fetches and decodes an instruction, an arithmetic unit 2 which operates according to the instruction, a program counter 3 which indicates the address of the instruction to be fetched, an instruction memory 4 for privileged interruption indicated by the counter 3, an interruption control part 5, an input/output unit 6 which directly sends and receives input/output data signals to and from the unit 1 independently of the unit 2, a command decoder 7, an external reset control part 8, and a reset signal generation part 9. When a data signal 107 is inputted after the computer is actuated, it is sent out to the decoder 7 through a bus 204; when the signal is an initialization command signal, a request signal 110 making the signal 104 ineffective is outputted to stop a signal 104 and a reset signal 113 is outputted at the same time to perform initializing operation by the units 1 and 2.</p> |
