<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal which contains a large capacity memory, which is reduced in size, thickness and weight and in which portability is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The portable information terminal comprises a plurality of boards for gathering only silicon chips 5 of a memory, a memory sheet 7 with the chips 5 mounted on a film-like circuit board 6 as they are and having contacts 8 connected to a connecting terminal of a main board 4.
