PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which is not in danger of damaging a third class generating element or the like even if an impact is given on the bottom face 1a of a battery can 1 in a falling or the like, as porous metal sintering materials 9 are dented while squeezing numerous minute bubbles. SOLUTION: The power generating element 3 is covered with an aluminum battery can 1 of a thin box type container state and a plate-formed aluminum cap plate 2, and the battery is made to have a constitution that the plate-formed porous metal sintering materials 9 in which the numerous minute bubbles are formed by sintering aluminum powders is joined to the bottom face 1a of this battery can 1.
