PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fitting condition of a lever type connector before mounting it on a panel. SOLUTION: Even if an attempt is made to let both connectors 10, 30 pass through a mounting hole H while they are in a half-fitted condition, a bending interference part 16 interferes with a hole fringe of the mounting hole H to regulate passing through operation. While both connectors 10, 30 are normally fitted, the bending interference part 16 is bent by a lever 20 and is displaced to a position where it does not interfere with the hole fringe of the mounting hole H to let them pass through the mounting hole H. Consequently, it is possible to detect a fitting condition of both connectors 10, 30 based on whether the bending interference part 16 interferes with the hole fringe of the mounting hole H or not before they are assembled into the mounting hole H.
