PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically generating a program for introducing a home page by which a home page is easily generated. SOLUTION: A program editing device produces a program by employing a computer on the basis of program information and displays the video of the produced program and program information on a display device. When a program desired to be introduced to viewers is selected from program information displayed on the display device in the case of generating the home page to explain the contents of the produced program, a language to be displayed in the home page is generated from the information of the program to be introduced to the viewers (105, 106, 108 and 109).
