PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine with excellent usability connected to both an ISDN line and a PSTN line and making G3 communication. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine is connected to both the ISDN line and the PSTN line, recognizes a call signal of the PSTN line when receiving the call signal from the PSTN line during G3 communication through the ISDN line, stores the arrival of a call from the PSTN line during G3 communication, and displays the fact on a display section after the end of IG3 communication to inform of the arrival of the call from the PSTN line. Thus, the user can recognize a call from the PSTN line during IG3 communication so that the usability of the facsimile machine is enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
