PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a current from continuously flowing into a power source circuit for a rapid breaking coil to cause a burnout of an equipment. SOLUTION: A thyristor 25 is interposed between an electromagnetic repellent coil 18 which dissociates the contact point of a vacuum line breaker 10 by an electromagnetic force and a capacitor 24 which supplies a current to the coil 18. A thyristor 35 is interposed between a rapid trip coil 16 which rapidly trips an operation mechanism of the vacuum line breaker 10 and a capacitor 34 which supplies a current to the coil 16. A power source side switch 41 is provided on the power source side of both capacitor charge circuits, and the power source side switch 41 is turned off during operation of a rapid detection circuit 5 when a rapid detection circuit 5 supplies an on signal to both thyristors 25 and 35. Alternatively, current detectors 51 and 52 are provided to a circuit of the electromagnetic repellant coil 18 and a circuit of the rapid trip coil 16, and the power source side switch 41 is turned off if the current detectors 51 or 52 detects a current.
