PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic flow monitoring device capable of easily monitoring a traffic flow with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This traffic flow monitoring device comprises environmental sensors 4, 5, 6, 7, detecting one or more environmental parameters such as noise, vibrations, the concentration of exhaust gas that are changed due to traveling of a vehicle on a road, and a traffic flow determining means 8 determining a traffic flow on the basis of a change in the detected environmental parameters.
