<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter in a simple configuration, easy to adjust. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmitter includes: an array comprising light emitting elements 101; an array comprising monitor light receiving elements 105; a plurality of APC (automatic power control) circuits for applying feedback control to a drive current of the light emitting elements 101 so that monitor currents detected by the monitor light receiving elements 105 are each constant; a setting means 102 for respectively independently setting a reference voltage of the APC circuits for three light emitting elements including those at both ends among the light emitting elements 101; and an interpolation means 107 for providing a reference voltage resulting from interpolating the reference voltages at the three light emitting elements above set by the setting means 102 to the other light emitting elements 101 than the three light emitting elements above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
