PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of easily receiving an E-mail transmission opposite party. SOLUTION: In transmitting mail, a mail address is entered up to Ð. When a first letter of the domain (e.g. 'a'), the domain name having been entered and stored in a memory and started from the letter 'a' is searched (S44), when a hit letter exists as a result of searching, a display section 20 displays a domain existing first in the alphabetical order. When the domain name is not matched with a desired domain name and a lower arrow key is depressed, the searching means displays a next domain in the alphabetical order (S50). When a second letter (e.g. 'b') is entered without searching the next domain by arrow keys or the like, the domain existing first in the alphabetical order starting from letters 'ab' is displayed.
