PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric chip antenna that can meet both demands for miniaturization and a wider band and, in addition, can be mounted easily on a printed board. SOLUTION: This dielectric chip antenna is constituted by respectively providing a feeding electrode and a fixed electrode on the surface of a rectangular parallelepiped dielectric substrate at both ends in the lengthwise direction and spirally arranging two radiating electrodes connected to the feeding electrode from the side face of the dielectric substrate on the surface of the substrate. The radiating electrodes are formed symmetrically to each other on both the upper and lower surfaces of the dielectric substrate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
