PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus capable of matching input impedances of antennas to characteristic impedances of power feeding as keeping insertion positions of feeding lines at predetermined positions. SOLUTION: An antenna apparatus 1 comprises a grounding conductor plate 102, a dielectric plate 104 of which one surface 103 is provided with a conductor plate 102, an excitation radiating element 106 mounted on the other surface 105 of the dielectric plate 104 and placed opposite to the conductor plate 102, and a feed line 4 inserted from an insertion point Q as a predetermined position on the surface 103. The feed line 4 has a ring-shaped conductor plate 5 placed in the dielectric plate 104 and a conductor 6 connected electrically to the conductor plate 5 to supply oscillation electromagnetic energy from a feed circuit. A side of the antenna apparatus 1 is matched to a side of the feed circuit by changing the plate width w of the conductor plate 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
