PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a video for searching a video recorded by using a fading function from being displayed. SOLUTION: Videos 1-1, 1-2 for searching a scene No.1, videos 2-1, 2-2 for searching a scene No.2, and videos 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3 for searching a scene No.3 are stored in a searching data sector. Information about fading function utilization of 0 (information indicating that the fading function is not used) is set in the videos 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2 and 3-3 so as to correspond respectively, information about fading function utilization of 1 (information indicating that the fading function is used) is set in the video 3-1.
