<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved package for a beverage, which allows a liquid contained in a package main body to be not easily contaminated in spite of use of a straw assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The improved package for a beverage, which has a straw assembly, is provided with: a package main body having a side wall which is recessed inwardly so as to form a vertical groove throughout the side wall and having a closed hole which is defined in this inner wall formed by the recess; and a straw assembly. The straw assembly is mounted inside the vertical groove and consists of: a straw, of which the vertical portion and the folded portion are connected to each other at a connection; and a block. The block has a through-hole for the folded portion of the straw, and the folded portion is frictionally inserted into the package main body through the block. In this case, the through-hole of the block is registered with the closed hole defined in the inner wall of the package main body, and the block is fixed to the vertical groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
