PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a stable toner concentration control even when the linear velocity of a process is varied. SOLUTION: Output value from a toner concentration sensor is adjusted to be a specified output value in standard toner concentration when warming up, action to store that adjusted value is carried out for each linear velocity of the process and toner replenishing control is carried out by calling the adjusted value from memory when printing operation is carried out.
