PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse tube refrigerator capable of providing stable refrigerating output even if installation attitude is changed. SOLUTION: In the pulse tube refrigerator connecting a connection pipe 11a connected to a compressor not indicated here, a heating part 12, a heat accumulating part 13, a cooling part 14, a pulse tube 15, and a heat radiation part 16 in order to integrate the same, and connecting an inertance tube 17 and a buffer tank 18 to the pulse tube 15 via the heat radiation part 16, ratio of an inner section area of the pulse tube 15 and an inner section area of the heat accumulating part 13 is kept at least 0.1 and at most 0.35.
