PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form grooves for attaching rack members to interior panels such as those of a spandrel wall without impairing appearance. SOLUTION: A plurality of horizontally elongate panel members 6 are vertically juxtaposed along a wall surface to construct the interior panel. Grooves 6A and tongues 6C that can fit together between the upper and lower panel members 6 and 6 are provided respectively at the upper and lower end edges of each panel member 6. In addition, groove forming parts 6B and 6D are provided which cooperate to form a horizontally elongate rack member mounting groove M along the junction between the upper and lower panel members 6 and 6 when the grooves 6A and the tongues 6C are fitted together. The rack member mounting groove M appears only when the panel members 6 and 6 are joined together, and disappears when the panel members 6 and 6 are separated. Since the grooves 6A, tongues 6C, groove forming parts 6B and 6D are collectively and continuously formed at the upper and lower end edges 63 and 64 of the panel member 6, they can be simultaneously machined whereby the manufacturing cost of the panel member 6 can be reduced.
