<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an install program with a printer driver setting control program stored therein capable of preventing any complication to set an initial value uniquely in each printer driver, and to set print configurations on the printer driver by setting various print configurations when installing the printer driver in a computer. <P>SOLUTION: This install program having a function to install a printer driver for converting a print request from an application into printer language on a computer in the computer has a setting means for setting a condition to be referred to by the printer driver when converting printer language as an initial condition, a storage means for storing setting information related with the condition set by the setting means, and a control means for controlling the setting information stored in the storage area of the storage means to be read out as an initial value when using the printer driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
