PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of joining points by welding or the like by reducing the number of components in a reinforcing structure for the pivotal support part of a boom. SOLUTION: This structure comprises a boom 13 having a pair of first wall parts 43a and 43a and second wall parts 43b and 43c provided between the first wall parts 43a and 43a. A boss part 46 is erected between the first wall parts 43a and 43a, and reinforcing pieces 47 and 48 bent from the second wall parts 43b and 43c toward the boss part 46 are integrally formed on the end parts of the second wall parts 43b and 43c.
