PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact reducing banking material having a new composition for protecting a structure from rock fall. SOLUTION: This banking material is uniformly mixed earth of earth and lightweight formed beads, in which 25 to 150 volume part earth is mixed with 100 volume parts lightweight foamed beads 100, the concentration of water soluble high polymer is 0.001 to 0.1 wt.%, and water is±3% of the optimum moisture content of the earth.
